Why Hello there! My name is Angelica Anglero and I am a young artist living in New Jersey. My favorite hobbies include playing video games, cooking/baking, and watching bad horror movies! I studied environmental and marine science at Stockton University for 3.5 years and completed a bachelors of science degree. Throughout my career as a scientist, I've seen countless amazing creatures. Many of which people have no idea even exist. So as a scientist and an artist, I bring these organisms to life on paper. My work is primarily watercolor paintings or digital illustrations of creatures, many of which aren't traditionally considered beautiful or charismatic.

For my creation process, I first think of animal(s) to use as my subject and research information about them. I get much of my inspiration from scientific illustrations and nature photography. After creating a doodle draft of my idea, I freehand my design on watercolor paper via pencil, or boot up my Procreate app on iPad for digital work.
